Riana is the owner of Trading Bird Gallery and Gypsy Gem. She hand mines turquoise at her claim in the Historic Mining District of Cerrillos in New Mexico. Riana also creates statement jewelry while teaching others, like her son, the arts.  Some of her pieces employ a design created by her late father and mentor, Waylan Peaker and still bare his insignia on the back.
